Gulf Coast executives seeking to learn about topics from sales strategies to dealing with privacy issues and terrorism in the workplace will have their chance this year.
Classes on those topics and several others will be offered by the USF Sarasota-Manatee College of Business through April. Classes range from one to three day programs and start later this month.
Instructors for the series of classes include Rosemary Goudreau, a former editorial page editor of the Tampa Tribune and a four-time juror of the Pulitzer Prize and Amos Guiora, a University of Utah law professor who served in the Israel Defense Forces for 19 years.
Goudreau will teach the Communication Boot Camp sessions, while Guiora will teach Anti-Terrorism Techniques for Business.
Other topics include e-marketing for small businesses; front line manager training; learning and applying effective negotiation skills; and conducting a feasibility study for launching a new business.
