The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce has named Darby Dickerson, vice president and dean of the Stetson University College of Law, its 2010 Business Woman of the Year.
A release announcing the award noted Dickerson's leadership at Stetson Law, her service on the board of the Tampa Bay chapter of the American Red Cross, and her service within the American Association of Law Schools as examples of her contributions to the Tampa Bay area.
Dickerson is also recognized nationally for her expertise in “cyberbullying,” legal citation, and higher education law and policy, the release said.
