PALMETTO — Potential homebuyers have a new community to scout now.

A new single-family home community in Palmetto recently celebrated its grand opening. The new Heron Bay, built by KB Home, is located near Interstates 275 and 75 in north Manatee County.

“Heron Bay is convenient to major highways for a short commute to area employers. Residents will also enjoy its desirable location just minutes to beautiful west coast beaches and future community amenities, including a pool and cabana," says Doug Guy, president of KB Home’s Tampa division. “As with other KB Home communities, Heron Bay provides home shoppers with the opportunity to purchase a new KB home that can be personalized to reflect their lifestyle and needs.”

The homes feature popular design characteristics like gourmet kitchens and walk-in closets. One- and two-story floor plans are available to tour with pricing beginning in the $290,000s.

Homebuyers will have the opportunity to customize their future home, as the homebuilder offers a wide variety of homes. Additionally, every KB home is designed to be ENERGY STAR certified with other features like high performance ventilation systems and low- or zero-VOC products.

According to the press release, KB Home has built over 650,000 quality homes in its more than 60-year history throughout 45 markets within the country.
