NAPLES — Luxury custom homebuilder Harwick Homes named 35-year industry veteran and former homebuilding company owner Len Chardo its third superintendent.

He is responsible for maintaining well-organized and productive job sites and ensuring client satisfaction as well as the scheduling, coordinating and managing subcontractors. Chardo will also work with Harwick project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and efficiently, the release states.

“We really enjoy having Len join our team,” says Harwick Homes President Mark Smith in a statement. “He’s a very hard-working, detail-oriented individual and we’re lucky to have him at Harwick.”

Chardo is a certified general contractor in both Florida and Massachusetts, and is OSHA certified. Before joining Harwick Homes, he owned and operated a successful homebuilding company with projects in Maine, Massachusetts and Florida.

“I came to Harwick Homes because I wanted the opportunity to work with a well-respected, high-end builder,” says Chardo. “The Harwick team is incredibly talented and I’m thrilled to be a part of its growth.”

For more than 30 years, Naples-based Harwick Homes has been building and remodeling luxury homes in Southwest Florida. It builds homes priced from $1 million to more than $10 million.
