SARASOTA — Helios Technologies, parent company of valve manufacturer Sun Hydraulics, among other brands, recently elected three new corporate officers. The officers include:
• Melanie Nealis, chief legal and compliance officer. Nealis joined Helios Technologies in July 2018 after six years as deputy general counsel with Lakewood Ranch-based Roper Technologies, according to a statement.
• Matteo Arduini, president of quick-release couplings, or Helios’ QRC division. Arduini previously held executive roles for Faster and the Faster Group, which Helios acquired.
• Raj Menon, president of cartridge valve technology, or CVT. Menon joined Sun Hydraulics as a consultant in January and was named president of that business in April, according to a statement. Prior to Sun, Menon was a senior vice president with diversified manufacturer J. B. Poindexter, the release adds.
In addition to the three new positions, the company’s remaining corporate officers are President and CEO Wolfgang Dangel; CFO Tricia Fulton; and President of Electronic Controls Jinger McPeak.
“We are pleased to elevate three talented members of our executive leadership team to corporate officer roles,” Dangel says in the statement. “As a result, our current officer team now includes the leaders of each of our businesses, Jinger, Matteo and Raj, residing in the locale of their respective business’s headquarters. We expect that consideration of their technology and market perspective at the corporate level will enhance the ongoing evolution of the Helios strategy and its successful execution.”
Helios, doing business through its operating subsidiaries worldwide, including, Sun Hydraulics, Enovation Controls and Faster Group, develops and manufactures hydraulic and electronic control products. It had $508 million in revenue in 2018.
