TAMPA — The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay added Linda Saul-Sena and Susan Beaven to its board this month. The two join a philanthropic, nonprofit asset management group that oversees $140 million in assets.

Saul-Sena served five four-year terms on the Tampa City Council prior to joining the Community Foundation. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation, as well as the Tampa Theatre Foundation.

Beaven is a family medicine doctor, and the current chair of the Community Foundation of Greater St. Petersburg Council, a division of the Tampa Bay foundation.

Former St. Petersburg mayor David Fischer is the president and CEO of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay.
