SARASOTA — Medallion Home, one of the largest independently owned, locally based homebuilders in the region, is primed to open another community.

The Manatee County-based company has scheduled a grand opening Aug. 26 for Waverly, a gated community with 110 homes off Proctor Road in Sarasota. The grand opening is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The builder is offering an incentive for qualified buyers: a free pool and a $20,000 design center gift card. The incentive, according to a statement, is for a limited time and exclusions may apply.

Medallion Home is showcasing three furnished models at Waverley's grand opening: the four-bedroom Barbados 2800; the three-bedroom Santa Maria; and the four-bedroom Belize. Floor plans range in size from 2,395 to 4,686 square feet and feature three to five bedrooms, two to four baths and expansive three-car garages. Prices start in the mid $500's.

“We pay attention to the details in all our model homes,” vice president of sales Andy Kern says in a statement. “At Medallion Home, we know that the little things can make a big difference when creating your dream home. Every living space is carefully planned for an uninterrupted flow from room to room. Every fixture and feature has its own place, ensuring that the overall design of our homes makes perfect sense.”

Medallion Home had $70 million in sales in 2016.
