TAMPA -- Sabadell United Bank appointed Susan Blackburn as its regional executive for the Tampa Bay market.
Blackburn comes to Sabadell from Synovus Bank, where she had served as a market president from 2008 until October of last year, and as an executive vice president prior to that, her LinkedIn profile shows. She is a current board member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay.
Sabadell's Tampa office is located at 701 N. Franklin St. The location once operated as a branch of Lydian Private Bank; however, that institution failed in August, and was acquired by Miami-based Sabadell in an FDIC-assisted transaction.
With $3.67 billion in assets as of Sept. 30, Sabadell is the eighth-largest bank based in Florida.
