TAMPA — Mainsail Lodging & Development named Brad Hayden vice president of finance.

According to a press release, Hayden comes to Tampa-based Mainsail — which develops and operates a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts in the southeastern United States and Caribbean — from Faena Hotels & Residences in Miami Beach, where he also served as vice president of finance.

“Brad is a seasoned veteran with a demonstrated ability to consistently exceed corporate financial targets,” states Joe Collier, president of Mainsail Lodging & Development, in the release. “We look forward to the deep insight he will bring to the team as we continue to drive growth and profitability.”

At Mainsail, Hayden will oversee finance, project accounting and hotel operational accounting, the release states. He will also be involved in growing the company’s core domestic businesses.

In the Tampa Bay region, Mainsail operates the Epicurean Hotel in Tampa; the Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club and Mainsail Beach Inn, both on Anna Maria Island; and the Fenway Hotel in Dunedin.
