Ann Grady will run for the seat vacated by her retiring husband in the upcoming election cycle. State Rep. Tom Grady, R-Naples, currently serving in the Florida House, represents Florida's 76th district.

“I want to serve the people of Collier County, who have been so good to our family," Ann Grady said in a release. "I plan to do that by sticking to my conservative principles — less government and lower taxes to make sure our economy thrives. After all, it's all about jobs, jobs, and jobs for the families of Collier.”

She added: “Quite honestly, I don't see another candidate who stands for those principles and values right now.”
