NORTH PORT — Sarasota County manufacturer Adams Group was selected to help with the construction of the Atlanta Braves spring training complex in North Port.
Adams Group, also based in North Port, was selected by the Tandem Construction and Barton Malow Co. team, according to a press release.
Adams Group will build the player and coaches lockers as well as the reception desks, cabinetry, solid surface countertops and additional millwork for the clubhouse.
The $125 million project is under construction in the master-planned West Villages community in North Port. It will include a stadium, clubhouse, offices, training fields and parking.
The complex is expected to open for the Braves' final game of the 2019 spring training season.
Adams Group is a manufacturer and installer of commercial architectural casework and solid surfaces. It was founded in 1978.
