The larger space for Elmquist Eye Group will also accommodate an enlargement of staff.

FORT MYERS — Elmquist Eye Group will relocate its Fort Myers practice in January 2019 with renovation of its new space scheduled to begin in July.

The new 7,000-square-foot office is at 7970 Summerlin Lakes Drive, about 1.5 miles from its current location at 12670 New Brittany Blvd. The larger space will allow the practice serve an additional 250 patients per week. The staff will be expanded to accommodate the growth.

“We look forward to beginning our transition into our new Fort Myers office, a move that better enables our practice to continue serving patients in a comfortable and caring setting,” says Dr. Trevor Elmquist, founder of Elmquist Eye Group.

The new office will include an expanded procedure room for patient care and a larger optical boutique.

The contractor for the renovation is Fort Myers-based Stevens Construction with design by Practice Flow Solutions of Roswell, Ga., and Southview Studios of Fort Myers. The project includes a complete interior renovation and exterior façade upgrade. Elmquist Eye Group will remain at its current location until renovations are complete.

Elmquist Eye also has offices at 2336 Surfside Blvd. in Cape Coral and at Arbor Medical Clinic at Shell Point, where it operates two days per week.
