The FutureMakers Coalition of Southwest Florida has launched a new employment survey — and seeks area employers to fill it out.

The survey is designed to capture the views and values of employers doing business in Southwest Florida, according to a statement.

The Southwest Florida Community Foundation is administering the survey on behalf of the FutureMakers Coalition, a regional initiative with the goal of transforming the workforce by increasing the number of degrees, certificates and high-quality credentials to 55%. “In order to grow a regionally strong workforce in our communities, we need to further understand the needs and perspectives of employers,” Southwest Florida Community Foundation Social Innovation and Sustainability Director Tessa LeSage says in the statement. “The goal is to get as many employers as possible to take the survey,”

The survey is divided into three sections, including a company’s future workforce, most desired workforce skills and current state of a company’s workforce. Human resources or other high-ranking executives are encouraged to take the survey for participating companies. The survey takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete, and is open through 5 p.m. Dec. 8.

The survey is at SurveyMonkey.com/r/FutureMakersEmployerSurvey.
