Wisconsin investors buy Kozy Mobile Home park

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Kozy MHP LLC, a limited liability entity affiliated with a West Bend, Wis., investment group, purchased the 95-lot Kozy Mobile Home Park on Cortez Road east of 34th Street West for $2.1 million.
The purchase price equated to $303,468 per acre for the 6.92-acre property and $22,105 per lot. Five of the lots are designated for recreational vehicles.
“We are in the business of operating mobile home parks,” says Michael Hickmann, a principal in the purchase entity and part of the law firm Hickman & Hickman in West Bend, Wis. “We liked the location, price and timing. It all made sense for us to do it.”
Hickmann's other limited liability companies own the Tropic Breeze RV Park in Port Richey and the Sun Village Mobile Home Park in Largo among others.
Purchase entity Kozy MHP LLC mortgaged the property to the former owner Bell Bros. Properties Inc. for $1.68 million.
IMG Academies assumes 100% of IMG country club
After initially acquiring a partial stake in 2005, IMG Academies has taken over full ownership of IMG Golf & Country Club.
“By acquiring full ownership of the Country Club, IMG Academies is confirming its commitment to the club's long-term success,” Chip McCarthy, IMG Academies' chief financial officer, said in a press release.
“By aligning the Club with the Academy's elite standards and goals, we plan to do everything we can to help keep the Club as one of the region's best,” McCarthy said.
