With a hot housing market in play, the Business Observer looks to cool things off by focusing on a different part of the industry — the coolest construction projects in the area.
It’s that time of year when the team asks readers and sources across our nine county coverage area, from Polk through Collier counties, for insider information on the coolest of the cool projects out there.
In 2021, we wrote about a bank remodeled into an urgent care, an airport rescue and firefighter simulator and a new welcome center at Lovers Key State Park, among other projects. The details of the project can vary on cool factors, from unique details and sustainability components to aspects that make the workload considerably less and inexpensive details, we want it all.
