SARASOTA — The Voice + Visibility Women’s Summit will host its flagship annual event, focused on empowering women in the region and beyond, virtually on Feb. 9, 2021.
Speakers announced for the summit include professional soccer player Jessica McDonald; producer and author of "Earn It!" Daniela Pierre-Bravo; co-founder of Stanford VMware Women's Leadership Innovation Lab Lori Mackenzie; and founder of Unshrinkit and "Shark Tank" winner Desiree Stolar.
The one-day Voice + Visibility Women’s Summit is designed to convene, inspire and activate diverse female leaders throughout the community, according to a press release.
“This past year has taken a huge toll on women financially, psychologically, and physically," says Voice + Visibility Women’s Summit Founder Shannon Rohrer-Phillips in the statement. "We want to deliver a VVWS program that inspires women to elevate the leader within. It’s time for women to rejuvenate, collaborate, and soar.”
The Voice + Visibility Women’s Summit has secured several sponsors, including Bank of America, which has committed $10,000 in support of the event.
“Across the country, women are leading their communities toward lasting, transformational change and bettering our society through their talented contributions,” says Mike McCoy, Sarasota/Manatee market president for Bank of America, in the statement. “We are eager to help provide a platform to the speakers at this summit to inspire others to empower women throughout Sarasota/Manatee and the world.”
