TARPON SPRINGS - USAmeriBank announced it is opening a new branch in Tarpon Springs. Anna Billiris, who has been a banker in the area for eight years, will lead the new location, the company says in a statement.
The 8,630-square-foot branch facility at 710 E. Tarpon Ave. was previously owned by Florida Capital Bank.
The branch is USAmeriBank's 12th location and its sixth in Pinellas County. The location should be open by Feb. 3.
The staff from Florida Capital Bank will stay on to run the branch.
“I truly believe this will be the go-to bank in Tarpon Springs,” Billiris says in the statement. “Even as this building has switched bank affiliations in the past, a large percentage of the customers have kept their business here, thanks to the retention of an exceptional staff. We expect USAmeriBank to continue this trend based on our commitment to exceptional customer service.”
