BRADENTON — Global Components Inc. will base its U.S. operations in Manatee County, and will hire 50 local employees to support those efforts over the next three years.

Global manufactures plastic injection-molded products. It is a division of TCB-Arrow, a U.K.-based company.

In addition to hiring 50 local workers, Global will occupy a 16,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on 17th Street East in Palmetto. Company president Lindsay Rolfe said her company would begin local hiring in early 2012.

To support Global's growth efforts, Manatee County and the state of Florida approved $300,000 in performance-based tax incentives for the company.
