Trust company names new vice president

Chief investment officer earns promotion.

NAPLES — Sanibel Captiva Trust Co. promoted Ian Breusch to executive vice president. Breusch is chief investment officer of Sanibel Captiva Trust and its divisions The Naples Trust Co. and The Tampa Bay Trust Co.

Breusch is responsible for the overall management of the firm’s daily investment process and directs the portfolio management team. He is an investment analyst, as well as portfolio manager with expertise in the real estate and energy sectors.  

“Ian has consistently demonstrated his leadership abilities combined with his keen rationale for asset management, which has made him a successful CIO to the benefit of our clients and The Trust Co.,” said Al Hanser, founder and chairman of Sanibel Captiva Trust.  

Based in Naples, Breusch participates as a host on the company’s quarterly investment call and leads the asset management committee. 

Founded in 2001, the independent trust company provides wealth management services including investment management, trust administration and financial counsel to high net worth individuals, families, businesses, foundations and endowments. With $1.8 billion in assets, It has offices in Sanibel-Captiva, Naples, Tampa, Belleair and Winter Haven.
