TAMPA — Triad Digital Media, the Tampa-based web media company that recently exceeded $70 million in annual revenues, today announced that it would change its name to Triad Retail Media.

The name change reflects the key strength of Triad's business: converting those individuals who browse retail websites like Walmart.com and Dell.com into paying customers. Indeed, the company's new tagline, “Turn Shoppers Into Buyers,” points directly at that mission.

Triad Retail Media is led by CEO Greg Murtagh, the Business Review's 2010 Tampa Bay Entrepreneur of the Year. The company more than doubled its revenues from 2007 to 2009, and increased its employee head count from 105 to 210 over the same time period.

Read “Feed the Giants” for the full story on the recent growth in Triad's business, and the plans Murtagh has for his firm's future.
