Co-founder of workers’ comp services firm takes reins as president

Sara Aguila had served as the Tampa company’s vice president of business development.

TAMPA — Sara Aguila has been promoted to president of Transcom Solutions, a transportation and translation company that serves the workers’ compensation industry.

According to a press release, Aguila previously served as vice president of business development at the Tampa-based company, which she co-founded in 2009. She will now oversee operations and customer service as well as sales and marketing.

“I believe this will truly be a unique role where service can exceed expectations,” Aguila states in the release. “Because of our passion for people, accountability, transparency, integrity in operations and professionalism, we will continue to maintain our boutique feel as the company grows.”

Aguila, the release states, boasts 17 years of sales and business development experience in the workers’ compensation and insurance industries. Prior to launching Transcom, she worked for Complete Claims Services, CompEx, ZoneCare, Optimal Care and Gould and Lamb.

With more than 5,000 credentialed providers in its network, Transcom, the release states, provides translation, transportation and concierge services for injured workers.
