TAMPA -- Time Warner selected Tampa's Westshore district as the location of its new service center this week, five months after announcing it would invest $5 million in the local market.
In September, Time Warner said it would hire 500 employees from the Tampa Bay labor market to staff a new shared services center. At the time, a final location for the new facility had not been selected.
This week, the company announced it would lease 23,289 square feet of space at Highwoods' Lake Pointe Two in Tampa Bay Park. The facility has room for up to 150 employees, and should be operational this summer, Time Warner says.
Time Warner says it will complete all 500 projected hires by 2016. The jobs will pay an average annual wage of $57,200.
