NAPLES — Gary Tice, chairman and CEO of First National Bank of the Gulf Coast, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Miami branch.
Branch directors provide information about their industry and region to the district bank's president and its directors, who then use the information to inform monetary policy decisions.
Tice has been chairman and CEO at First National Bank since 2009. He has previously served as CEO for three other area financial institutions: First National Bankshares of Florida Inc., F.N.B. Corp., and First National Bank of Naples.
As of Sept. 30, 2010, First National Bank of the Gulf Coast managed $278.7 million in assets. The company lost $4.7 million through the first nine months of last year.
