TAMPA — Audio Messaging Solutions LLC and IOHI, two audio-video marketing firms based in Tampa, will combine later this year, creating a company with 72 employees and $17 million in revenues, a release says.

The companies' combined clientele includes recognizable brands such as Pep Boys, Goodyear and Papa John's Pizza. Their key competency is in on-hold messaging services.

After the merger is completed, the new entity will rename itself and develop a new brand. The firm's corporate headquarters will be located in Tampa, current base of operations for Audio Messaging Solutions, while some creative and customer relations operations will remain in Tulsa, Okla., IOHI's base.

Audio Messaging Solutions is led by CEO Aaron Kleinhandler. The Tampa firm has completed nearly a dozen acquisitions during the past six years.
