Tampa Bay's Eric Polins is one of three global finalists in OgilvyOne Worldwide's search for the World's Greatest Salesperson.

Polins is managing partner at HCP & Associates, an international marketing and consulting firm based in Channelside. The firm's client list includes local companies, such as Raymond James Financial and LifeLink Corp., as well as several international companies such as German-based Olverum and Kuppersbuch USA.

The two other finalists, Y. Lee Abbas and Todd Herman, hail from Japan and Canada, respectively.

The first round of competition asked entrants to submit a two-minute pitch via YouTube, in which contestants were asked to describe how they would sell a red brick.

The winner of the competition will receive a three-month fellowship with OgilvyOne Worldwide, a New York-based company, as well as, of course, the title of World's Greatest Salesperson.
