TAMPA — The ratio of traditional home sales to total sales in Hillsborough increased between March and June, albeit slightly, according to Lance Mohr, a real estate professional with Keller Williams.
Of all homes sold in the month of March in Hillsborough County, 57% of those were traditional sales, Mohr says. In June, that ratio increased to 63%, based on Mid Florida Regional MLS data.
Over that same time, the number of homes listed for sale in Hillsborough decreased, from 6,412 listings to 5,281, an 18% drop.
According to the National Association of Realtors, the median sale price of an existing single-family home in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metro area was $113,600 in the first quarter of this year, down 15% from the same time a year ago.
