TAMPA — DOW Electronics was recognized as distributor of the year (2013-2014) at the 2014 Mobile Electronics Industry Awards. Vendors and retailers working in the 12-volt industry voted on the awards held by Mobile Electronics magazine.
“DOW Electronics is proud to be honored by the 12-volt industry, it means a lot to us that our retailers support us in this way,” Mike Barcia, 12Volt Strategic Sales Manager at DOW Electronics, says in a press release.
SRQ Custom Autosound of Sarasota was recognized as one of the top 12 retailers for 2014, and Soundwaves Inc. of Tampa was named one of the top 12 installers. They were also finalists in their respective category for retailer of the year and installer of the year.
DOW Electronics offers 18 12-volt brands along with more than 60 other consumer electronic and installation brands. The Tampa company has five locations in four states, including Florida, George, North Carolina and Tennessee.
