TAMPA — Tampa Crossroads, a nonprofit that offers a variety of services — including drug and alcohol rehabilitation, affordable housing and programs for veterans and disabled adults — has promoted Gwendolyn Green to CEO.

According to a press release, Green joined the organization 14 years ago as a volunteer and worked her way up to become clinical director prior to being named CEO.

“We have witnessed Gwen’s leadership abilities and are confident she will serve Tampa Crossroads with strength and grace as CEO,” Tampa Crossroads Board President Ailen Cruz states in the release. “We are excited to see where she will lead the organization.”

Tampa Crossroads operates several health care facilities in the Tampa area, including BeWell, a newly rebranded behavioral wellness center that offers drug testing and recovery meetings; Rose Manor, a residential treatment center for women only; and Eco Oaks, an energy-efficient affordable housing project.

“After 14 years at Tampa Crossroads, I am honored and excited to step into the role of CEO,” Green states in the release. “Our team of leaders and direct-service staff have untapped skills and ideas that I can’t wait to put to use as we move into the future, continuing our mission of providing services to individuals with behavioral health conditions, individuals experiencing homelessness, adults with disabilities, veterans [and] women. I am thrilled to lead our team alongside so many incredible organizations within Tampa Bay as we work together to create a more safe and stable community for all.”
