TAMPA — Ubiquitech Software Corp., the Tampa parent company of Internet marketing firm Blue Crush Marketing Group LLC, has acquired the HempLifeToday.com business.
Hemp Life Today is website focused on news, industry information related to hemp and medical marijuana. It also sells branded products.
Ubiquitech Software announced in January that it planned to enter the hemp, cannabis and medical marijuana advertising market within the next 12 months. Blue Crush Marketing Group will serve as an in-house global marketing company to HempLifeToday.com with the goal of increasing awareness for the HempLifeToday.com products and services.
One of the more attractive parts of Hemp Life Today, according to Ubiquitech Software, was marketing and sale of Cannabidoil
(CBD) oil products, which have gained in popularity.
“Americans purchased $500 million in hemp products in 2013 alone, making the United States the largest importer of industrial hemp, and now with medical marijuana becoming legal in state after state the time is ripe for a new way of thinking in the marketing of these products.” Luke Dreyer, COO of Blue Crush Marketing Group, says in a press release. “And with CBD oil, there are no obstacles to sales as it is already legal in all 50 states. We have the ability to offer HempLifeToday.com products at a very competitive price with a very profitable margin.”
James Ballas, CEO of Ubiquitech, says the company plans to make the HempLifeToday.com brand the household name in hemp and cannabis and CBD Oil related products.
