FORT MYERS — The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization is seeking ways to alleviate congested roadways that could interfere with daily business operations.
The MPO has set up an interactive online form here to identify roads that need traffic improvements.
Once the MPO receives comments identifying problem areas, it will retime traffic signals, re-stripe lanes and make other necessary improvements.
The MPO has surveyed Lee County residents and business owners about areas of traffic congestion since 1998. The agency says the surveys have been responsible for funding millions of dollars worth of transportation improvements in the area.
