SEMINOLE — Superior Group of Companies Inc. (NASDAQ: SGC) will donate $5 million worth of scrubs, from its WonderWink and Fashion Seal Healthcare lines, to hospitals and health care facilities in areas of the country severely affected by COVID-19.

According to a press release, SGC has partnered with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s team to get the scrubs to several New York hospitals. The firm has also worked with the Texas Division of Emergency Management and Arkansas Economic Development Commission to plan for the distribution of scrubs to health care facilities in those states.

Via subsidiaries Superior Sourcing and The Office Gurus, SGC is also distributing scrubs and masks to hospitals and medical facilities in Haiti and El Salvador, respectively, the release states.
