TAMPA — Tampa-based Kforce Inc., a staffing services and solutions firm, announced it will donate $100 for every new consultant it places on an assignment, up to $1 million. Its pledge will support the ongoing recovery efforts from the devastation caused by hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

In a press release, Kforce says it partnered with the American Red Cross to allocate donations to assist hurricane victims. The company also plans to help displaced workers find new jobs and encourages its clients to support this goal.

“The Kforce family has been personally affected by both Harvey and Irma and we know our family isn't the only one still recovering,” says Kforce Chairman and CEO David Dunkel in a statement. “We understand that it takes time to come back from something like this, which is why we are making a long-term commitment to continued relief. We are relieved that our corporate headquarters in Tampa was not impacted by the storm and that all systems continue to function normally for our people and clients.”

The American Red Cross has established a Kforce page to accept donations. A link can be found on Kforce.com.

“We are extremely grateful for the generous support of our amazing donors, such as Kforce, as we work across Red Cross societies, with community partners and volunteers on the ground to help people affected by Hurricane Irma,” says American Red Cross President and CEO Gail McGovern in a press release. “Hurricane Irma is described as the most powerful Atlantic Ocean storm on record — making contributions from our partners even more critical.”
