SARASOTA — Both Signature Sotheby's International Realty and Michael Saunders & Co. were ranked among the nation's top 100 residential brokerages in terms of closed sales volume for 2010 by REAL Trends Inc., a Denver-based residential brokerage consultancy.
Signature Sotheby's was ranked 54th in terms of total sales volume in 2010 with $1.464 billion in closings, making it the largest locally owned brokerage in Sarasota by that metric. It also was ranked 15th in terms of average sales price by the Denver firm's publication.
Michael Saunders and Co. ranked 60th, closing on $1.432 billion in total sales in 2010. That sales total was up 21% from its 2009 total, according to a statement. Additionally, its 4,346 units sold for the year was up 29% from 2009.
