Specialty retailer of natural-based skin and beauty products strikes agreement to offer bath bombs in 261 Dillard’s department stores.

NAPLES — A 10-year-old Naples-based retailer of proprietary skin care and beauty products made from natural ingredients is going national.

The business, Naples Soap Co. has partnered with Dillard’s department stores to offer a selection of its top-selling bath bombs, which will soon be available in 261 stores in 29 states, as well as online at dillards.com.

Made with cocoa butter, shea butter, epsom salt and essential oils, the bath bombs will be offered in 12 beach-inspired, floral and fruity scents including Florida Fresh, Sunkissed, Coconut Water, Ocean Breeze and more, according to a statement.

“When Dillard’s reached out to us to be a part of their new artisan-crafted beauty products within their cosmetics department, we were thrilled,” says Deanna Wallin, founder and CEO of Naples Soap Co., in the statement. “Customers are always telling us they wish they could buy our products closer to home. This partnership will substantially broaden our reach and provide an opportunity for people to experience our unique scents in person.”

Founded by Wallin in 2009 in a 300-square-foot store in Naples’ Tin City, Naples Soap Company operates 13 retail locations in Florida, an online store at NaplesSoap.com, and is sold through more than 100 wholesale partners. Wallin projects sales in 2019 to exceed $10 million.
