Shopping center builder wins two projects

More new businesses coming to Marlin Plaza in Fort Myers.

FORT MYERS — Stevens Construction has been awarded the construction management services for two tenant build-outs in Marlins Plaza at 5631 Six Mile Commercial Court in Fort Myers. Construction of both projects is slated to begin in June and will be completed concurrently. 

The company will build-out Lena’s Nail Spa and The American Grilled Cheese Kitchen in the shopping center.

In March, Stevens Construction completed Marlin Plaza, a 14,665-square-foot commercial shell building. The project included Marlins Brewhouse and Chronic Taco, both now open for business.

The Stevens Construction team includes Mike Waskiewicz as project manager, JJ Slaugh as superintendent and Rebeccah Hamilton as the project administrator. Architectural services are provided by Southview Studios. 

Stevens Construction has offices in Fort Myers, Tampa and Orlando. The company builds health care, commercial and hospitality facilities.
