NAPLES — Shamrock Bank of Florida appointed Colleen Kvetko as its newest president and CEO. Previously, Kvetko spent nearly two decades with Fifth Third Bank as the CEO and chairman of the bank's Florida operations.
Shamrock Bank was founded in 2007, and currently manages $82 million in assets. The bank is headquartered in Naples, on Fifth Avenue.
Last August, Shamrock canceled its plans to merge with Florida Shores Bancorp, which is based in Pompano Beach. It was assumed that Kvetko would have taken over as CEO of that bank had the merger gone through, but the federal government prevented the combination from taking place.
