PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Sarasota Memorial Health Care System purchased the second floors of the two buildings housing its outpatient centers from the Starling Group. The combined price equated to $114 per square foot.

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System housed its emergency room and outpatient center on the first floor of the North Port Medical Plaza. It had already been leasing the second level for several physician practices.

The first floor of the Harbour Outpatient Center contains SMH's urgent care center and rehabilitation and radiology services. The health system had been renting the second level for a pain management center and physician practices.

The new ownership plans to offer additional medical office space on the top level of the two buildings for lease to physician groups.
