SARASOTA -- David Sessions, president of Willis A. Smith Construction, is the new chair of the Economic Development Corp. of Sarasota County, according to a release issued by the organization.
The EDC announced its full slate of leaders for the 2011-2012 fiscal year, which begins this month. Other officers include:
• C.J. Fishman, Fishman & Associates Inc., immediate past chair;
• Benjamin R. Hanan, Shumaker, Loop and Kendrick LLP, vice chair;
• Anne Merrill, AMDS Inc., vice chair of the Partners Council;
• Laura Spencer, JCI Jones Chemicals Inc., secretary; and
• Allan Barberio, Kerkering, Barberio & Co., treasurer.
Mark Huey is the Sarasota EDC's president and CEO.
