A 20-year finance executive has joined Veransa Group Inc. as CFO to support the company’s expansion strategy.
The Sarasota-based company, which transforms green waste into products that can be reused on an industrial scale, announced Jeremy Pfeifer would fill the role. The finance veteran comes to Veransa having previously served in leadership roles at four private equity or institutionally backed companies. During his tenure at multifamily amenity services company Valet Living, he saw the company double in size.
“We are excited to have Jeremy join our team,” says Marc Owensby, the CEO of Veransa, in a release. “Jeremy’s leadership will accelerate Veransa’s buildout of an engaged and scalable finance team prepared to undertake due-diligence and acquisition integration as we expand, while providing high-level strategic financial planning support to the company.”
Aside from also being a licensed certified public accountant in the state, Pfeifer also has experience with organic and inorganic company growth strategies, which makes him well suited for the current position.
