A company led by Gil Atzmon, chairman of Zazu Metels Corp. in San Antonio, purchased an approximate 6,000-square-foot new Wawa store for $5.15 million.
The seller, an affiliate of The Ferber Co. Inc. in Pointe Vedra Beach, started building the Wawa convenience store in July. The location is scheduled to open this spring. Each Wawa location employs between 40 and 50 people.
The 3.45-acre parcel features frontage and access off both Colonial Boulevard and Fowler Street.
