The Florida Bankers Association has named Geoffrey and Robbie Roepstorff, CEO and president of Edison National Bank respectively, its Bankers of the Year. The decision marks the first time the organization has recognized a couple rather than an individual for the award.

Edison National, the Roepstorff's bank, is the oldest locally owned and operated bank in Lee County.

The FBA determines its selection for Banker of the Year according to several criteria, including commitment to community involvement and service, as well as a reputation for excellence within the industry.

Robbie Roepstorff is a past director of the FBA, and Geoffrey Roepstorff is a lifetime member of the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Assocation.
