FORT MYERS — Construction firm Stultz started building a retail and office center on Daniels Parkway near the intersection with Interstate 75.

The first tenant at 9011 Daniels Parkway will be coffee purveyor Starbucks when the center opens in the fall, the company says. The six-unit, 8,350-square-foot building is located within the Parker Commons office development a half-mile west of I-75.

John Stultz, the construction company's founder, is a managing member of Estero Bay Capital, the developer of the center.

The project is further evidence of a recovery in commercial real estate on the Gulf Coast, led by the retail sector as companies such as Starbucks seek out additional locations. Read a recent story about this trend in the Business Observer here.
