Real estate group elects board

FORT MYERS -- The Real Estate Investment Society elected new officers and board members for 2012.

Kim Donnelly, a vice president with Reliance Bank, will lead REIS as president for the coming year. Steve Hurley of David Douglas Associates Inc. will serve as vice president; Roetzel & Andress LPA's Sean Ellis is treasurer; and Maxwell & Hendry Valuation Services Inc.'s Matt Simmons is secretary.

Members of REIS' Board of Governors include:

Amanda Brock, of Henderson Franklin Starnes & Holt PA;
Roy Hyman, consultant:
Steven Kushner, of Becker & Poliakoff PA;
Karen Miller, of HSA Engineers & Scientists;
Jean Gruss, Lee/Collier editor of the Gulf Coast Business Review;
Robin Mixon, of Hans Wilson & Associates Inc.;  and
Lisa Sands, of VIP Realty - Commercial.

Kevin Fitzgerald, the group's immediate past president, will also serve on the board.

The Real Estate Investment Society provides networking, public service, and education opportunities to its members. The Fort Myers-based organization meets at 11:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers. Membership information is available at its website.
