ST. PETERSBURG -- Raymond James Financial Inc. (symbol: RJF) opened a new office in Jackson, Miss., for Raymond James & Associates Inc., its brokerage subsidiary.

The financial firm also added three new advisers to its ranks to support the expansion. Arthur Finkelberg, Butch McKenzie, and Albert Green will be based in the Jackson office as senior vice presidents, a release says.

Finkelberg and McKenzie are leaving Wells Fargo to join Raymond James, while Green comes to the firm from UBS.

“Together these advisers represent over $500 million in assets under management and over $3 million in annual production,” says Tom Galvin, Raymond James' complex manager for the region. “As Raymond James continues to expand along the Gulf Coast, we are looking for advisers of this caliber and reputation to join our growing division.”

The operator of three brokerage subsidiaries (including Raymond James & Associates), Raymond James Financial has approximately 5,400 financial advisers serving 2 million accounts in 2,400 locations throughout the United States, Canada and overseas.

Raymond James stock traded for nearly $32 a share early Tuesday -- down roughly 20% from its 52-week high, but up 33% over the past three months.
