SARASOTA — Local talk radio host Phil Grande, whose show focuses on Wall Street and financial news, is primed to pick up thousands more listeners nationwide under a new syndication agreement.

Grande's show, the Phil's Gang, was picked up by Burnsville, Minn.,-based Genesis Communications Network. The network has more than 700 stations, Phil's Gang senior Executive Producer Thomas Biggs says, and Phil's Gang will likely be heard on up to 200 of those outlets. “This is a big one for us,” Biggs told the Business Observer in an interview today.

Phil's Gang is currently broadcast daily nationwide in more than 100 markets. Locally the show can be heard from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on 860 WGUL AM in Tampa and 930 WLSS AM in Sarasota. (The Business Observer broadcasts a weekly business news update on WGUL and WLSS.)

Grande's investment philosophy is to follow and chart who buys a stock, not necessarily the company's fundamentals.
