Prominent Fort Myers law firm names new chief operating officer

Henderson Franklin made several other made several other personnel announcements.

Ivy Rhinehart, who has held top financial leadership posts at several law firms, in Florida and nationally, has been named COO of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt P.A.

Rhinehart, according to a statement, will oversee all aspects of business, administration and finance at the Fort Myers-based firm, one of the largest in Southwest Florida. Rhinehart has more than 30 years of experience in law firms, and most recently was CFO at GrayRobinson. Prior to GrayRobinson, Rhinehart was director of accounting at Fowler White Boggs, according to her LinkedIn profile.

The firm, with over 55 attorneys, made several other personnel announcements. In one, stockholder David Hamilton Roos was elected to the firm’s executive committee, his second time in that role. Roos joined the firm in 2003 and is based out of Henderson Franklin’s Fort Myers office. The chair of the firm’s workers’ compensation department, Roos represents insurance carriers, third-party administrators and employers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims.

In addition to that move, attorney Katie Kohn has joined the firm as an associate in the divorce, marital and family law department, based out of the firm’s Naples office.

Henderson Franklin was founded in 1924. The firm focuses in the areas of business and tax planning, estate planning, family law, business and civil litigation, eminent domain, intellectual property, workers’ compensation, employment law, real estate and land use and environmental law
