TAMPA -- Progressive, the auto insurance subsidiary of The Progressive Corp. (symbol: PGR), will hire 390 additional sales, service and claims representatives for its Riverview contact center in the coming months.
Progressive employs more than 2,000 local workers in the Tampa Bay area. Last October, the company announced 130 new hirings for the end of the year.
All positions offer paid training, Progressive says, and new hires will receive medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits. Additional information is available at Progressive's website.
The Progressive Corp. is based in Mayfield Village, Ohio. The company generated $15 billion in revenues in 2010. Its Tampa Bay contact site is located at 4119 Foxworth Road.
