Area tech company names new vice presidents, directors

Software-as-a-service firm PowerChord names Tipton and Shreve to key leadership roles.

ST. PETERSBURG — PowerChord, a St. Petersburg-based tech company, has promoted Michelle Tipton to vice president of finance and Stephanie Shreve to vice president of customer success.

According to a news release, the software-as-a-service marketing firm also named Nicole Clemens director of people and culture and Kate Dalley director of product management.

“As PowerChord continues to grow we want to make sure female leadership continues to grow in parallel,” PowerChord CEO Lanny Tucker states in the release. “Women in tech have proven to be key resources in leading the charge on innovation, development and overall success of products and technologies. For us, having employees who want to grow with the company is a priority. We have been diligent in implementing a unique organizational culture and providing staff with growth opportunities within PowerChord.”

Tipton, the release states, has been with PowerChord for seven years, previously serving as financial controller as well as an accountant and HR specialist. Shreve, meanwhile, is also a seven-year veteran of the firm and served as director of partner engagement prior to her promotion.

According to the release, Clemens joined PowerChord in 2015 and has been involved in key HR and organizational culture efforts at the firm. Dalley, a new hire, will be responsible for making sure PowerChord’s platform evolves in accordance with ongoing industry needs.
