FORT MYERS -- Park Royal Hospital is on schedule to open in February, after the new building had rooftop air chillers added on late last week.
The new facility will create 200 area jobs once it is fully operational, a release explains.
The Park Royal Hospital is a 72,000-square-foot mental health facility located at 9241 Park Royal Drive, on the campus of HealthPark Medical Center in south Fort Myers. DeAngelis Diamond HealthCare Group began construction of the new $30 million building in March.
“We are right on schedule for the completion and grand opening of the newest hospital in Southwest Florida,” says Jim Harper, the hospital's CEO.
