Oyster Roast (Tampa edition)
Mother Nature smiled on the Clearwater Bar Association's 58th Annual Oyster Roast on the grounds of Florin, Roebig & Walker PA in Palm Harbor.
With a clear sky and light breeze, more than a hundred lawyers, including Florida Bar President Miles McGrane and local judges, socialized and competed for the association's food award at the March 20 picnic. (The award will be announced next month.)
Food dishes included roasted oysters, paella, turkey, baked potatoes, stuffing, Hooters' chicken wings and more.
"It's a great event," said Robert C. Dickinson III, association president.
Even Hillsborough Bar Association President Marian McCulloch crossed Tampa Bay to attend the event.
